Oper Frankfurt season 2019/20

Barnaby enters his fourth season at Oper Frankfurt this year. During the 2019 / 20 season he will debut Leporello in Christof Loy’s Don Giovanni as well as the the lead role of Adam Ochsenschwanz in Schwergewicht oder die Ehre der Nation, staged to critical acclaim by David Hermann in 2017. Barnaby will make his house role debut as Sparafucile in Rigoletto, reprise the role of Hobson that he premiered in Keith Warner's 2017 staging of Peter Grimes and revisits his critically lauded portrayal of Lord Tristan Mickleford from 2016's premiere of Martha. He also role debuts Obrist Kottwitz in the premiere of Prince von Homburg and Jarno in a concert version of Ambroise Thomas' Mignon under the leadership of Benjamin Rivers.
